A Discovery Flight (also called an Introductory Flight) is a great way to try flying. Unlike a Scenic Flight, where an instructor will do all the flying, an Introductory Flight is a mini lesson where you will get to manipulate the controls.

With your instructor's guidance, you will get to help with the takeoff, learn how to make an airplane climb and turn, and understand what it might be like to get your pilot license. Of course you also get to enjoy some of the scenery along the way!

A Discovery Flight lasts roughly half an hour and counts toward the training requirements of your pilot license. We use our most modern well-equipped airplanes for these flights, and flights are available in conventional aircraft as well as light sport aircraft (for those considering the sport pilot license).
It's a great way to get started and try out flying!
